CyberEdWorld
is a 3D-immersive software system that can be used for learning by
participating in a virtual classroom setup. This virtual 3D-space
is equipped with a set of learning tools for students and instructors
to interact with each other online for academic activities. Croquet
(www. Croquet.org), an open source 3D immersive software for creating
game-like environment, has been used in this project. For registration

Second Life
has recently become one of the cutting-edge virtual classrooms for
major colleges and universities. It fosters a welcoming atmosphere
for administrators to host lectures and projects online, selling more
than 100 islands for educational purposes, according to a New York
Times article (Lagorio, C. The Ultimate Distance Learning, New York
Times, 2007-01-07). CyberEdWorld also provides a gateway to the students
